We adore silk, as this fiber is a work of art in itself and needs no introduction.
Without this wonder of nature, without worms giving us their unique architecture, our signature would be meaningless.
They are our first collaborators and, without a doubt, the most generous.
In their metamorphosis they weave their ephemeral refuge of threads, and with that gesture they give us their most precious treasure: silk.

TYPES OF SILK
We use 18-mommie silk because it has a very dense and luxurious feel. We use it for the 90 x 90 cm squares. Its thickness and ability to be structured in multiple ways make it ideal for this type of square scarf, which has become our brand's icon.
Light and fluid, perfect for subtle movement. It's the choice for our 170 x 65 cm scarves, as its thickness and drape allow for many styling possibilities.
This is a very special silk that combines softness and texture with a sophisticated, subtly satin finish.

Each handkerchief is printed on both sides, achieving exceptional color intensity and visual effect.
We wanted this to be part of the brand's identity: everything flows, everything is equal, no face is less important.
You won't have to worry about how to place it, as no part will appear uncolored. And this... is very special and convenient.
It generates security in the person who wears it and, above all, beauty.
PRINTING
In addition, we use eco-friendly inks that are both environmentally and skin-friendly.
HEM
The hem is hand-sewn.
Nothing compares to the feel of the thread and needle in silk, guided by expert hands that follow the natural rhythm of the fabric.
The scarf remains without gathers, without tugs or folds: a true manifestation of excellence, an invisible luxury.
Cashmere Modal
What is cashmere modal?
It is the combination of cashmere and modal.
We carefully select our fibers to offer garments of the highest quality, combining softness, lightness, and sustainability.
The wool we use comes from cashmere sheep, known for their exquisite softness.
By gently brushing, only the finest part of the wool is removed, the part that is in direct contact with the animal's skin.
This allows us to obtain a unique fiber without the need for large quantities.
Furthermore, the fuel we use comes from sustainable beech forests, ensuring a continuous and environmentally friendly production and reforestation process.
This plant fiber gives our garments a silky feel and elegant drape, perfectly complementing the warmth of cashmere.
We like knowing that less water is needed to produce modal cashmere and that it also wrinkles less.
THE PRODUCTION AND THE DESIGNER
Behind KD is our designer and brand promoter, Cristina.
Passionate about art, she likes to live quietly, enveloped in simple, almost invisible luxury.
She reveals that since she was a child she dreamed of reading Jules Verne, Rudyard Kipling and stories like The Emperor Stork .
Distant cultures were his passion, as was getting to know other places and people.
She says that little girl is still alive; now that restlessness has become a source of inspiration, activated even before the collection has a name.
He tells us that in the process of drawing and painting there is a critical moment that must be overcome.
If you succeed, you reach the end with satisfaction and the drawing is approved.
Otherwise, the work falls by its own weight and remains as a draft, an experience and a learning experience.
Everything is useful in the artistic process: what is discarded gives rise to something new.
In addition to enjoying the creative process, like many artists, he believes it takes perseverance, a love for things well done, and, above all, a lot of humor.
